Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, here is what we do!

School Safety
Picture
Our school has plans for all the general emergencies.  In our classroom, we will practice all types of drills on the first Wednesday of the month during tornado season.  We will do this because the weather is usually nice so as to not scare the students.  Our practices of the different types of drills will be done together so that our students will be able to focus on what to do during any unforeseen event.  Safety first!

During tornado season, Jefferson County tests their siren system.  We are going to practice tornado drills too!

Fire

We are going to the nearest exit.  There is a designated rally point where we will count and make sure we are all present.

It is scary!  But we are prepared!
Run, Hide, Fight is the order of action to take no matter where you are.
